For Authors
Submit ManuscriptCastanea publishes papers relating to all aspects of botany in the entire eastern United States and adjoining areas. The Journal encourages submissions of scientific papers addressing basic research in any field of plant biology, systematic, floristics, ecology, physiology and biochemistry. All manuscripts will be submitted for peer-review to the Editor, who will assign it to a selected member of the Editorial Review Board, and independent outside review.
Membership in the Southern Appalachian Botanical Society is not a pre-requisite for submission.
